Provider Bio
Hannah (Grae) Krodel (she/they) MA, ATR‑BC, LMHC is a compassionate, creative mental health provider whose passion for this work is rooted in personal experience. Hannah carries deep empathy for people who feel like they have to hold a lot on their own.
Hannah’s approach is integrative, trauma-focused, and strengths-based. Her experience includes supporting adolescents and adults in community mental health, hospital-based care, and intensive outpatient treatment, including work with substance use, neurological conditions, and complex mental health needs.
Across all of these settings, Hannah remains committed to honoring each person’s story and identity—especially those exploring questions around trauma, chronic illness, neurodivergence, LGBTQ+ identity, spirituality, and substance use. Her hope is that therapy with her feels like a steady, accepting place to slow down, make sense of what you’re carrying, and move toward a life that feels more authentic, grounded, and meaningful.
How We Work Together
Creative & Depth Roots
At the heart of my practice are art therapy and depth psychology. These approaches go beneath the surface to explore your inner world and unconscious patterns through creative expression. By engaging with imagery and symbolism, we can give a voice to the parts of your experience that words alone often struggle to reach.
Narrative & Existential Care
We use narrative therapy to re-examine the stories you hold about your life and existential therapy to find meaning in the human experience. These lenses allow you to reclaim your agency and navigate life's big questions with more clarity, helping you live a life that feels deeply authentic and aligned with your values.
Integrative Toolset
While my core is depth-oriented and creative, I integrate practical tools like CBT, DBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing when they serve your specific needs. This blend of soulful exploration and evidence-based skills ensures you have both the profound insight to understand your psyche and the tangible strategies to thrive daily.
A Space Where You Belong
Healing Through Safety
I provide a secure sanctuary for survivors of trauma, including those living with PTSD, brain injuries, addiction, or mood and personality disorders. Whether you are managing self-harm or navigating complex psychiatric needs, we use art to build a pathway toward refuge and restoration.
Celebrating Each Mind
My practice is neuro-inclusive, warmly welcoming ADHDers, autistic people, and neurodivergent thinkers. I also support women, femmes, and folks living with chronic illness or pain, helping you bridge the connection between your physical body and your emotional well-being with deep care.
Honoring Your Path
I am honored to walk with LGBTQ+ folks, people exploring gender, and those navigating family or cultural expectations. Whether you are exploring spirituality or moving through life transitions, I offer a dedicated space for identity, belonging, and healthy self-worth as you grow and heal.

Outside the Session
When I’m not in session, I love slow, cozy moments and small creative joys. You can often find me listening to music, reading, writing, making art, building Legos, baking, playing video games, tending to my plants, practicing yoga, exploring nature, or spending time with my cat and loved ones. These simple, grounding rituals help me stay present, curious, and resourced so I can show up fully for our work together.
